Throughout November and December, the Youth of Brambleton Presbyterian Church led and participated in a compassion project called, “Blankets of Love.” The purpose of this project was to provide blankets for the homeless living in Loudoun County. Over the course of two months, the youth collected enough funds and donations to provide nearly 200 blankets!
On December 18th, 2011 the INOVA Hospital Mobile Hope Bus came by Legacy Elementary School after the church service to collect some of the blankets, and afterwards the group drove over to the Loudoun Winter Shelter after church to deliver the remainder. Great job youth and youth team leaders!
