BPC High School – Haiti Mission Trip
What is it: An opportunity for our youth to joyfully go out to share the good news of the Gospel with people from Haiti. This short-term mission project will provide our youth an opportunity to spread the Gospel through their lives and actions, an opportunity to give of their time and energy, and be a team effort, which requires preparation.
Who may participate: Open to all rising 11th-12 graders who are willing to attend all team training meetings leading up to our mission work.
All-Project Training: The Summer Mission Project (SMP) really begins on our first day of training, when we gather as a team to prayerfully and strategically prepare for our week of mission work. These meetings serve a multitude of purposes, including, but not limited to: spiritual and mental preparation; understanding the motivation for and goal of our service; getting to know the students and leaders on your team; learning about the people we’ll be serving, and more!
Therefore, all SMP participants are required to attend these two all-SMP training meetings, in addition to any project-specific meetings called by the Project Coordinator. To state it clearly, if you have an unexcused absence at either of the meetings, you may not participate in the mission project. We are giving you the dates now, so that you can mark them on your calendar today.

May 19, 2019 – 5:30 – 7:30
June 17, 2019 – 2:00 – 4:00 – Haiti Pack-Out
June 23, 2019 – 12:00 – 2:00 – Pre-Teen Leaders
July 21, 2019 – 12:00 – 2:30 – Local SMP students & leaders
Acceptable absence from training meetings only in the event of an illness or emergency, and you must contact Lewis Grof-Tisza.
